  • Data Encryption: All data is encrypted both in transit and at rest, using industry-standard encryption protocols to keep your information safe.

  • User Control: You have complete control over your data. Delete meeting records, transcripts, and other personal information at any time through your Echo dashboard.

2. Data Security

  • Secure Cloud Storage: We use highly secure cloud storage providers to store your data, ensuring it is protected against unauthorised access.

  • Access Controls: Echo uses role-based access controls, so only authorised team members have access to meeting data and transcripts.

  • Regular Security Audits: Our platform undergoes regular security audits to ensure all systems remain secure and up-to-date with the latest protections.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • Anonymisation: When analysing meeting data for feature improvements, all data is anonymised to protect your identity.

4. Transparency & Reporting

  • Data Request: You can request a copy of your data or an overview of how it has been used directly from the Echo team.

  • Data Breach Policy: In the unlikely event of a data breach, we will notify affected users promptly and provide guidance on the next steps.

Disclaimer

Depending on where your meeting participants are located, you may need to get consent from participants in meetings prior to using Echo. We have a feature ‘Meeting Compliance’ which informs all participants 1 hour prior to the meeting that Echo will be present.

Ultimately, you are responsible for obtaining consent from participants where required by law. Regardless of whether you are legally required to do so, we strongly recommend that you always ask for consent.
